Willie Nelson’s Red Headed Stranger is a cerebral country-western concept album that tells a story of a rebel preacher who has taken to the road after killing his cheating wife and her love. The story telling is non-linear so I can never tell whether the preacher finds new love as he runs or whether it tells the story of his old love’s beginnings. I’ve had the album on repeat before and its so circular that I can’t tell where the love story starts and where it ends. Either way, its incredible.

This album is usually on as I am having my first cup of coffee and collecting myself before beginning my day at work.
